You can ASK for a license restricted to drive at work. But, if your ambulance company is like the ones I have worked with, your suspension or conviction for DUI will result in either suspension or termination. It's a serious liability issue for them.

My company has put me on a "leave of abscense" until things can b worked out.My court date isn't til mid Feb for a misdeanor DUI.(1st offense)
I'm hoping 4 the best!

You better get yourself some other form of employment in the mean time. Get yourself an attorney and get into AA before you go to court.

Already in motion

I have an atty,going 2 AA,enrolled in a dmv/approved dui class,& looking 4 a new employer.

Good because you are going to have to pay for your attorney and it isn't going to be from your ambulance job.
