in kansas. i have a handicapped sister that will be in my care for two months while my mother is away on a trip. we have a durable poa and a durable poa for health care decisions that appoints mother as her poa and i as the alternate. my brother said to get a temp. guardianship. wouldn't the poa that is already filed in court be sufficient? thank you
