I applied for my renewal EAD on Nov 27 (this is the receipt date from USCIS). Could anyone tell me how long does it take for renewal EAD to get approved. I applied to the Texas Service center.
Now I am already out of status and have discontinued working.

Did you get a receipt notice and letter asking you to make a fingerprinting appt yet?

You'll probably receive one soon, like Lana mentioned it takes up to about 90 days. If you have your receipt no, you can also follow your 'case' on the USCIS website. Hope this was a lesson for you to renew your EAD way earlier next time!

Yes I have learnt a lesson the hard way!.... But you know what, the first time I applied for an EAD (everyone said it takes 90 days), I got it in exact 1 month flat...I guess I was just plain lucky...Which is why I took it easy assuming that since its only a renewal, it would take even less time. But!!!!!!
