EAD & SSN after GC receipt

What is the name of your state? CA

I received my Conditional Green Card last week based on I-485 adjustment of status by marriage. I would like to ask if I should update my EAD & SSN applied before my case approved as EAD & SSN has restriction for "work only".

I know EAD may not be necessary as I already received my green card which means my conditional permanent residence has been approved, how about my SSN which shows "work only", I need SSN to open my own bank/credit card/cell to build my credit.

Yes, you should apply for a new SSN card without that conditional language. The SSN will remain the same, but you will get a new card without that language.

Take your Green card and other ID to SSA. Since they'll need to check your status with CIS and there may be a delay, it might be better for you to forget your SS card at home.
That way, SSA will not accidently take it from you, leaving you with no card while they produce the new one.

Put the EAD inyour scrapbook; it is nothing more than a souvenir now.
