What is the name of your state? Well not exactly based in the US, but I just came from VA
if that's okay. :D

Well, not exactly a question, but some related reading for those who might be interested.

For those coming in, eBay sued Perfume Bay for trademark infringement, especially for the
domain names perfumebay.com and perfume-bay.com. It was last heard in the 9th Circuit
Court of Appeals, which recently decided on it:

Feel free to share your thoughts and pluck out any nuggets you can find. There are bound
to be a few lessons from this, I'm sure.

Enjoy. :)

Interesting.

I have decided, after reading through the decision, that I must not be a typical consumer, as I found no confusion at all between Perfumebay and eBay.....and, in fact, didn't even NOTICE the "ebay" part of Perfumebay until it was mentioned. I was envisioning a Bay, as in the water-type.

Ah, well. There go my plans for a QuinceBay site. :)
