What is the name of your state? Texas

Well Im from Texas but Im interested in attending the " Crescent School Of Gaming and Bartending " in Gulfport, Mississippi but I just turned 20 and you need to be 21. The school said I can still attend but I have to be an emancipated adult first but they offered no advice on going about it. See in Texas im an adult but Mississippi is one of the few states in where your not an adult until 21 instead of the common 18. My mother has no problem signing any documents i just dunno how to start the process. Does anyone know how long the process takes? How much it costs? And do I need to hire a lawyer or is there away to do it without one? Any advice or phone numbers will help alot

Thank You

Standard answer on emancipation: get a full time job and support yourself 100%; that will help you prove emancipation.

Well I have to go back to the south for court on my dope charges anyways and I have a friend who im gonna stay with in Gulfport, which isnt far from where I got to go to court in Louisiana so I figure I should do something productive while I wait its only a 3 week course.
