What is the name of your state? Georgia
Someone just left me a voicemail stating that they were going to get me for embezzlement because they refuse to payment for a service that I rendered for one of their clients.
To make a long story short I did a photo shoot for someone who contracted me out. Their client called me about the photos and I informed them that I was a contractor and that if any retouches were to take place that the arrangement would have to take place with the party that booked me initially. Well the party that booked me stated that Sony music wanted a full refund for travel and all other expenses. So basically party that booked me was refusing to pay me. So the parents of the young lady phone me and ask have I and the makeup artist been paid? I said no. The father stated that he would pay me immediately. The father also stated that the lady booked my services for 800.00 to whereas I only charged 225.00 and the makeup artist charged 125.00. So that sounds like fraud to me.
What are my rights in this matter? Especially considering that the parents phoned me?
