What is the name of your state? California
My ex lives in Georgia. I have filed a claim with DCSS and I’m also filling with a lawyer to modify my support and visitation.
DCSS is going to just enforce collection of my support. They sent out a letter to verify employment for my Ex and he or one of his office staff called DCSS and told them he no longer works there.
I believe this is a lie and that he still does. I can still reach his voice mail and my son say he didn't quiet.
My ex believe (this is from his letter to DCSS) that DCSS has no rights over the case because it was filed in Georgia and because he still lives there. He told them to cease and desist all actions. That he would not give them any information.
DCSS say that they can not do anything since they are being told he no longer works there. Is there anyway or anything I can file or do to help them?
I know he's not that stupid. His wife wouldn't let him give up a good job just to spite me.

Well first of all, you don't even know if he works there. If the employer told them he doesn't work there, then there isn't much more that DCSS can do. If you can prove them wrong, go ahead. Just because you can reach his voicemail means nothing. Depending on the size of a company, voice and e-mail isn't on the top of their lists of things to do.

I do know that he still works there because I called the office and asked for him and was given his voice mail. NOT told that he doesn’t work there.
I was looking for advice on what I can do. Not your comments on what I know and don't know.
He does work there and he is a cheat and will do a lot of things to get his way.
Now if anyone knows what I can do, or if there is any paperwork, or process I can go through to help me prove that he works there that would be great.

Your membership can be just as easily deleted as it was to be instated.

Get the POINT?

As for what the original poster can do there are several things.

First and foremost, she can file for a subpoena Duces Tecum naming the company and any and all employment records, time sheets, benefits packages etc, that the ex is named on.

Such a subpoena requires an underlying civil action so she will be required to file a show cause for contempt of a court order. The two can be filed silmultaneously.

The subpoena puts the oneus on the company to either comply or be found in contempt of court. Such brings civil and (in dire cases) criminal penalties.

So, now keep your stupid comments to yourself.

Thank you for the answer that is what I was wondering about. I just want to be able to help with collecting my child support, and paying the laywer for everything gets a little expensive.
