This is in Texas, employer is out of Arkansas.
I have been working for this company for 1 year and 9 months. When I first started with them I was told to use my personal vehicle to work and then they would get me my company vehicle. I used mine for a month and was never pd. the car allowance said that i was owed. Since then the company car's alternator went out on me. I called my supervisor and before the tow truck got there my supervisor told me to get a rental from the dealership doing the work. Had it for 2 days and never pd. for this.

Now, I had a gallbladder attack and was put in hospital for a week with surgery. Thereafter was out for 3 more weeks due to complications. My medical leave paperwork was sent to my supervisor and to head of HR and to this day I have not recv'd a paycheck. Please give me advice on what to do????

Unless you have a contract that says otherwise, nothing in the law requires that your employer pay expenses as you describe. DO you have such a contract? Not a verbal agreement, a CONTRACT?

As far as a paycheck goes, if you are not working you do not get a paycheck. Depending on your company's policies, you may be entitled to a certain amount of sick pay (not required by any law) and IF your company has a disability policy (they are not required to by Federal law or the laws of either Texas or Arkansas) then you can apply for that. You will need to request the appropriate forms from HR; your medical leave paperwork is NOT sufficient.

What made you think that you got paid when you're not at work?
