What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TN
So about three months ago I interviewed for another position in the company, the supervisor for this position painted it as being a really relaxed position that was not as stressful as the one I had held previously, that the metrics weren't as important as the one I was in, etc...
In the span of a month I found out that the metrics were more important than the position I held before, that there was twice the stress, and now he is requiring me to change my work hours to work more evenings/nights and weekends (he never mentioned this in the interview) and this is putting added stress on my family.
Basically this supervisor lied to me and won me over to get me to accept the position, had I known the job was like this I would not have even applied for the transfer. I have tried to move back to my old position and was told I'd have to wait six months in order to do so but other employees in the company have moved back to their old positions before without being denied. I'm facing possibly being disciplined for poor performance (I was a stellar performer in my old job my last review was near perfect).
Is there anything legally I can do about this?
