I need to sign a contract with an IT staffing Company and I don't understand the following clause?
Non-Competition: During the term of this agreement (including any renewals or extensions) and for a period of one year thereafter, I agree that I will immediately pay [name of company removed] ZZZ a finder's fee of $25,000 if :
(a) Myself or anyone acting on my behalf directly or indirectly provides or advises another of the opportunity to provide, any services to a client introduced through [name of company removed] ZZZ. or
(b) Myself or anyone acting on my behalf, directly or indirectly, retains or solicits for itself or for another party, the services of any of the [name of company removed] ZZZ's employees or other contractors introduced through [name of company removed] ZZZ. For purposes of this paragraph "introduced through [name of company removed] ZZZ” means where a client, employee or other contractor came to the attention of contractor in any manner through [name of company removed] ZZZ. "Client" includes any affiliates, customers or clients of the client.
