What is the name of your state? VA

Hi, I need you guys opinion about this issue. My husband will be out of his job soon due to disability. He is planning to take Degree (for full time, which I support his decision). I am working and will add him into my medical insurance. He is responsible 100% insurance coverage for his son (which is the mother a CP). I already discussed this with my HR and they said it won't be a problem. But, do you think this is a good idea? I talked to my husband and ask him to talk to his ex that she must really follow the has to see the doctors and hospital that in the network and that she has to pay the co-pay if she failed to follow this. So far I know that his ex is really considerate, but I am a little bit worry. On the other hand, it is cheaper to include him in my medical rather than buying a separate insurance just for him.

Secondly, do we have to pay his vision and dentist if in the divorce degree just says medical?

Thanks in advance for your opinion.

If the order just says medical, then medical it is. So that you know, the judge didn't and cannot order YOU to cover the child. You need to read the order and find your states laws regarding a parent who takes the child to a doctor that is not in-network. Many states have laws that say that if a parent takes the child to an out of network doctor, that parent is 100% responsible for the out of pocket costs.
