The buyer of my home was to release the escroe deposit after I moved out and returned the keys. The buyer hired their own inspector before closing. The buyer was informed in writing by me that the basement will have some water leaks during heavy rains. Now the buyer refuses to sign off the escroe funds that the escroe company has. What are my options? Besides legal action against the buyer, can the real estate agents, home inspector, and escroe company involved share some responsibility in this snafu?
