Ex Husband and my Wife share a mortgage on their old home

my wife and her x husband still share a mortgage on their old home. He has been unable to refinance and remove her from the mortgage. He has fallen behind on the mortgage, and is currently living in the property.

If she takes over the payments to protect her credit, can he be evicted? What options does she have?

How is title held in their old home?, I hope you tell me its in both their names, other wise YAS. What was in their divorce decree?
