What is the name of your state? Ok

Can someone tell me if there is a difference between a request for voluntary dismissal and an ex parte request for voluntary dismissal. I talked to various attorneys on the phone today trying to get help and one of them used the term ex parte? Is that the same thing? I am going to sound so stupid in court- Uggghh I am seeing myself as Ellie Mae Clampett in the court room. I am so nervous

Thanks

I think you may be asking the wrong question. Instead of just looking to see how to dismiss your case, you might also want to inquire about transferring it to the judicial district where you now live.
