What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana

As a court order I pay 343 dollars/week in child support (2 children), and $45 of that payment is for day care (split). My son was sick last week, and I found out that she had him stay at her boyfriends office, on an office couch. First, I think that is crazy! Second, since I'm paying her day care, do I have any say in where the children go?

Thanks for any help!

He was sick, daycare couldnt take him, could you have taken off and watched him?

Your all bent over one day?

How much daycare do you think $45 per week for 2 kids is supposed to cover? What would have been your suggestion for taking care of the child when sick?

Really!!!

Wow that was extremely helpful. It wasn't one day, it was four; and I pay plenty. Since you are so quick to pass judgement, you obviously know nothing. I live two hours from my children..Why? Because I'm responsible for 86% of their support, while my deadbeat ex-wife lives in her parents house & works a part time job.

You don't get to make such demands.

You are not paying HER daycare; you are paying THE CHILDREN'S daycare. There's a difference.

Not knowing where in Indiana you were, I randomly selected four or five daycare websites for various parts of the state; I didn't find a single one where your $45 per week would pay for more than two days a week, or less. So she's paying at least as much as you are, if not more.

And no, unless you are specifically granted that right by court order, as a matter of fact you don't have a say in where they go.
