My X-boss refuses to pay my company expenses that are owed to me.
I'm a service engineer and was forced to use my own credit card for company expenses. Air fare, Hotels, Rental cars, Meals, ect... Long story short. I quit, with no notice. I picked up a few customers of his and started my own company. Since I did that, he feels that he dosn't owe me. I have my hotel reciept but none for meals, it was a per diem.
The total is only $1025.30 but it's owed to me.
Any advice ??????

You quit without notice, stole some customers, and started a competing business. One can see where your boss is coming from.

Here's the deal - there are no laws that compel your employer to pay for your business expenses. It's a matter of company policy/practice. Your option is to sue your former employer in small claims court and see if the judge will award you the money. Careful though - your boss may decide to countersue for tortious interference or something along those lines.
