What is the name of your state? CA

I recently expunged my record by filing a PC 1203.4 petition and was granted.

What will a criminal background by a potential employer show if the record is sealed?

Can I legally answer no on a employment application if asked if I have ever been arrested?

Thank you and I appreciate your help.

Hold on tight to your paper work showing dismisal of your charges cause you'll be attaching it to a lot of items in the future.

Yes you can legally state no to prior arrest or felonies, however!!!
If you are applying for any State,Federal job, or anything that requires bonding or a proffesional license you will need to disclose as it will come up in a background search when they search the CA dept of Justice or Federal sources!

Most common employer background searches do not show charges dismissed under 1203.4 but they can pop their ugly heads up from time to time!
