I HAD A QUESTION. WHAT IF I HAD BEEN LAID OFF FOR A WHILE AND NOW HAVE PAST DUE SUPPORT AMT. NOW THAT I HAVE A JOB THEY ARE TAKING OUT MORE TO MAKE UP FOR THE PREV. BALANCE. WHICH IN TURN WILL BE MORE THAN 50% OF MY EARNINGS, LEAVING ME ABOUT $200 BI WEEKLY TO LIVE OFF OF. CAN THEY STILL TAKE THAT MUCH FROM ME (MORE THAN 50%)?

Yes, up to 65% if in arrears. Next time, file immediately for a temporary modification if you happen to become unemployed again (by no fault of your own). Plan to show the judge that you are actively seeking employment....hopefully you can get the judge to order a modification...but who knows with judges.
