is there a such thing as palimony in new jersey? i have a child with my boyfriend of 7 years-other then child support am i entitled to anything else?

Yes, "Palimony" is recognized in New Jersey. The question then becomes, "Do you qualify ?". The only way to determine the answer to that question is to speak with a local attorney.

thank you for answering my question-however,i would like to know how i can go about having my twin daughters last name changed to my last name-since their biological father has not been involved in their lives in the last 7 1/2 years. again i thank you for your time and kindness in answering all my questions. take care and be well!!
