My Father is in the advanced stages of alziemers (spelling)He is in the process of right now of trying to give power of Attourney(spelling) of his financial affairs to his "female" longtime friend. I am trying to stop this but his lawyer tells me that if he seems to be of sound mind to him when he comes to sign the powers, that he cant stop him? HE HAS ALZIEMHERS!...some really good advice would be apprieciated right now.

What is the first step in obtaining gaurdianship?
