I am a federal worker in the forest service. I am in danger of being fired after they put me on forced sick leave for the past three weeks for passing out at work due to fumes. Can govt. workers file with EEOC? Are they covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act? Someone told me they aren't covered! Please help me. Next week they put me on AWOL status and are not letting me go back to work.

Do you have a union? See them! If not and you want the job, see a lawyer who does federal employmemnt matters.

Yes federal employees are covered by the EEOC, unless covered by a union. Please consult with an employment law attorney. You can find one near you at attorneypages
