What is the name of your state? California
In June 1999 I purchased a condominium in Walnut Creek CA. The lender commited to an FHA Loan @ 7.5% Interest.

In checking my loan documents I find that I'm being charged 7.75% interest and can find no instruction in my copies of the loan and escrow papers that amend this.

Would you advise, thankyou

Refer to your mortgage note that you signed when you closed on your mortgage. This will have all the information you need.

Second thought here, is as long as you have made six on time payments, you should consider an FHA streamline refinance. Very easy qualifications, and you shoiuld be able to lwer your interest rate to around 6% and probably lower.
