Can someone help. I am a wife of someone who has a child with someone else. He has been paying dutifully (1100 bucks a month) and now she wants more. He now has me and our child as a dependent and a huge tax debt. Is this relevant at all or can she still get more from us?

Maybe. She has right to try. And he has right to explain why he cannot. Judge will decide. Expect this issue to arise from time to time until child is 18,
