What is the name of your state?iowa

i am looking to file bankruptcy at the end of the month. i am married but my wife is not filing with me. she isn't filing at all. my question is about my expenses that i will be listing. with our household expenses do i need to split those in half or just take the full amount into consideration? for example here is my layout right now.

House 879.00 (now my name is on the deed but the loan is in only her name, anyway we plan on keeping that and since the loan is in her name i shouldn't have to list it.)

car 398.00 (wanting to reaffirm this is sticky too, my dad is listed as primary on loan with me as a cosigner but it is registered to my dad)

auto insurance 100.00

child care 320.00

tv 75.00

phone 80.00

cell phone 80.00

water bill 40.00

gas electric 125.00 avg.

now my cc debt bill is about 550.00 bucks a month total wich is what i am filing to get rid of.

my income is only about 1800.00 a month by myself. no when i file since i am filing alone do i need to cut my expenses in half since we share them so to speak? if i put the whole amount do i need to add her income in with mine? is there any expenses that i can list that i didn't to help myslef out. any help with my problem would be appreciated.

OMG, you have left all kinds of valid expenses !

Here's an expense calculator that will give you a better idea of what you should be listing:

Even though your DW is not filing, you're going to have to list her income and expenses because it goes to household income/expenses.

The house is not your liability, its hers, but if your name is on the deed it IS partly your asset.

The car shouldn't be that big a deal, you co-signed so its your liability. It will probably have to be listed as a contingency debt. Who's name is on the title ??
