What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NJ

My husband and I have been spearated for a year and a half but are still legally married.
We have maintained separate residences and have a custody agreement filed with the state to confirm our separation.

I am seriously considering filing for bankruptcy but I don't know if my marital status will hinder me.
All of the debts I have are in my name only.

Any advice?

Thanks.

Your marital status should not be a problem. If you and your husband maintain separate households, you should not even need any information or documents from him.
