What is the name of your state? new jersey my husbands ex wife has gotten restraining orders against him (11 in the past 3 years) he has been arrested more than once on violation of these restraining orders. She lies about him breaking the order and he gets arrested and then she doesn't go to court or it gets thrown out . Now she has filled false complaints against me. She called our home and threatened to kill my ******* son and to break my legs. I called the police made a report and the next day changed my phone number and filled a complaint for harrassment. She turns around and files 2 false complaints against me, so she has leverage in court. Her complaints are false she states that i ran her off the road (she doesn't have a police report for that) when i was home all day with my son, husband and sister and she says i called her and threatened her when i never did. We went to court and she wanted me to drop my complaint i wouldn't now it's going to trial in our town. The judge said the only way to resolve this is if one of us goes to jail. I don't want to go to jail over something i didn't do, She also lied to the judge and said she has a protective order against me and she doesn't does this give me any leverage? What should i do drop the charges or proceed with the trial? HELP!!!

DO NOT drop the charges. This is her way of trying to intimidate you.
If you can afford it, see an attorney, if only for some advice on how to proceed. At the very minimum, keep a record of all police reports and when in court you can ask that any such claims made by her be proven with the same.
By the way, New Jersey is a one-party state. What that means is that you have every legal right to record telephone conversations that you are a party to.
So, I would suggest you go to radio shack or some other small electronics store and purchase a recorder with suction microphone (about $25) and record every conversation you have with this woman. It will be admissible in court.

Seems HG and I were writing at the same time. And I like his answer MUCH more 
i can't shoot her then i will go to jail. I just want to know what i should do she can't call anymore but when i see her in town things always happen to my vehicles. I just want the judge to see through her lies and see things from my point of veiw she threatened my 7 month old son shouldn't something be done about that??!!!!! I have her number on my caller id 3 times the police saw it themselves she can't say she didn't call. i want to know that i have a fighting chance against this woman and that justice will prevail!!
