What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? HI
Thanks a lot for helping.

The scope: 5 yrs ago. contract breached, 4 yrs ago breached party filed suit instead with no legal ground and no supporting evidences. Everything's made up,twisted. LL countered sued pro se. However, breached party have tons of resources and lawyers and harassed LL for 2 years, Rules, codes, and laws broke. The court take care of the breached party's summary judgment, 1) got rid of some claims due misunderstand of legal terms by Prose LL, 2)dismissed their contract breach claim give extended statute of limitation and instructed breached party to refile to other court due to jurisdiction (which is not correct). Problem is, there is no adjudication/judgment, nor trial to address LL's counterclaim and motions. And, breached party's attorney faked the court order claiming they win their whole summary judgment and omitted the fact that partial claims dismissed to another court. That's a fraud, right? LL thought everything didn't pay attention, thinking the whole thing's resolved. That was 2 years ago.

now 2 years later and 4 years after first complaint, breached party file something with court and won attorney court fees behind LL's back. It's a final judgment. Can they go for final judgment 2 years after the court's decision on summary judgment? there's strict deadline of procedures. don't know time frame for this one.

They also put in court minute that they called LL 3 times at the hearing LL was unaware of. However, there's just no records of such calls exists.

Aside from the vacating default (which is only temporary), what's option does the LL do? Again, they likely have spent 10-20 times legal fees >balance owed to fight. so they are not going to let go.anyway, not their money (tax payers and donors') something is really wrong.

appeal ok? Is the statute of limitation going to run out? Should LL file small claim and appeal at the same time? Is there any problem with that?

Again, thank you so much and god bless
