What is the name of your state? NH

Is there anyway creditors can find out how much money you have in a bank account that was not listed on the credit application without first getting a judgment against you?

Can creditors get access to MV files? Can they tell the year and make of your car? Can they tell if there is a lien on the vehicle or not?

Which bank check guarentee companies allow creditors to searsh for your bank accounts? Which ones do not?

1. Yes creditors can find out if you have money in your account. I'm not sure what service they use to do this though.

2. Access to MV files would be determined by the laws of your state. Some states (such as CA) have very restrictive allowances to one's personal information. They would most likely know if there is a lien against your vehicle through your credit report (which if you owe them money, they can view legally).

3. I don't think the check guarantee companies have anything to do with accessing if you have accounts or not. Most are only reporting if you've had a bounced check you did not pay for and other bad items in regards to a checking account.
