Hi,

I was hired by a beauty salon in Oslo as a makeup artist and i was supposed to start working 1.11.2015.

Before i was hired i passed two rounds of interviews and testing, after that i was called to come and sign the contract, that i did.

During contract signing i was asked to start working earlier as they needed someone to do eyelash extensions as well and i stayed to helped them although i moved from another country and i wasnt prepared.

I was also asked to buy cloathes that fit their work enviroment and generaly spent a lot of money on life in Norway because of them.

Before i even started working and after signing contract they claimed i am not fast enough with lashes although that was not what i signed the contract for and that i shouldnt come there again.

I want to know if what they did is legal, because i am trapped in a foreign country where i spent a lot of my time and money for people that hired and then fired me before i ever started working.

Is it even possible to sign a contract with a person and then fire that person before she ever started working ?

I'm sorry, but this forum handles US law matters only.
