What is the name of your state? Florida

Anyone know the law for breaks in florida or if there are any for a certain amount of hours worked. If u know a direct url to the law if there is 1 then please post that too if u can hehe =)

The state of Florida does not require meal breaks, snack breaks (NO state requires snack breaks) or rest breaks unless the employee is 17 or under. IF the employee is 17 or under, then Florida law requires that the employee get a 30 minute break every four hours.

If you are an adult, then you are entitled to whatever breaks the employer chooses to give you. No more, no less. If the employer chooses not to allow you to take a break, then you do not take a break, and it's perfectly legal.

The state of Florida has completely ignored the issue of breaks on their labor law web site so I cannot send you to a FL state URL. However, the attached URL from the US DOL shows what states require breaks of any kind for adult employees. You will note that FL is not on the list. Negative proof, I suppose, but proof just the same.
