What is the name of your state? NJ
How do I determine the value of the following stocks & a mutual fund for 02/04/2005. I know the number of shares owned & there is no cost basis cause all the stocks were bought at one time & never sold. I thought it would be a simple matter of multiplying the number of shares by the closing value but ther is also an "adjusted value for dividends & splits" after the closing value. Here is the portfolio:
Lojack (LOJN)
Telefonos De Mexic De CV Ser A (TMX)-pays dividends & split off into TMX & AMX in the past
America Movil De Mexico Ser A (AMX)-pays dividends
Diapusle Corp of America (DIAC.OB)
Fidelity Trend (FTRNX)-need some help to determine the shares owned but have all the statements

I don't have a broker I simply want to know if you multiply the number of shares by the closing value or the "*adjusted value for dividends & splits", to determine the value for a particular day?
