What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New York

I have been divorced since 3/07 :D - we had an offer in 4/07 but it wasn't enough for my angry ex-husband  (profit would have ONLY been $150K). I'm now looking at a short sale due to the current market. I have been paying mortgage and all house-related expenses since 8/07 without help. Can I force him to agree to sell??

How were these issues addressed in the MSA? Were there any other assets divided and was the house appraised for division? Was the 4/7 offer in writing?

Divorce agreement stated sale and split 50/50. Offer was rejected outright by ex who wouldn't even discuss it. Tried explaining that 5 additional mortgage payments amounted to $8K we wouldn't see again. He didn't care...

Does the decree mandate a "sell by X date?"

If not, he doesn't HAVE to care. He might be having quite a bit of fun at your expense, along with his...and finding that the fun is worth the price.

File a motion to amend the judgment in your lawsuit to force the sale.
