What is the name of your state? Florida

I received a summons (Lis Pendens) from a local law firm regarding a house I own on December 1st (Yesterday). I am 4 months behind on the mortgage payments so obviously my mortgage company has started foreclosure proceedings.

However, I put the property on the market over a month ago and already have a buyer willing to pay the full market value for the home. The scheduled closing for the property is in about 20-30 days.

The buyer's title company is asking for the loan number on the property, my social security number, etc.

How should I proceed? Should I call the mortgage company? The law office that is representing them? What is my position?

Thanks for your earliest advice or help.

The two things that I have seen stop a foreclosure sale are: (1) money, and (2) filing for bankruptcy.

Consider which of those alternatives you want to pursue.

In the meantime, go to the creditor and show them the executed contract for the sale of your real estate. Then beg and plead for more time.
