What is the name of your state? souh carolina....i need to know if property i now live on is foreclosed on can the mortgage holder put leins against other real estate i own in the state that has no mortgage or leins...

A: Yes, if there is a judgment or other lienable interest. In other words, if you don't pay your bills, property you own may be latched onto and sold to pay your bills.

is this the law in south carolina ? what happens if i live on the property that is free and clear of loans, can they attach and sell the home i am living in or file just lein and/or judgement?
