My problem is I rent a home that we have been notified by a law firm is being foreclosed on. We contacted the owner who said i have already called and taken care of all that send me the may rent! I gave it two days and called the law office handling the foreclosure i found out that they have not heard from the owner and the foreclosure is still on. My question is do i have to pay may rent, when we are going to have to move in two weeks(that means no notice hardly) the owner is lying to get our money. We have kids, jobs,schools,pets,etc.. to think of. please helpundefined

Of course you have to pay the rent for the time you remain in the property. Contact the attorney and get a statement in WRITING as to who to pay to. If they refuse or are reluctant.... pay your current landlord. Until the actual foreclosure takes place, he/she is still the owner. Obviously, keep records of ALL payments and correspondence.
