What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? FLORIDA

I have a sale date (foreclosure) coming this Nov 20th. But I have had a roommate, with a lease, for the past 4 months and their lease ends in 8 months. My roommate is basically paying for an entire fair market value for the property and allowing me to stay ... Can my roommate petition the courts to STAY in the property until the leaser term (as per Obama's Signed Law protecting renters of foreclosures)? Will I be able to remain in the property with her (her choice) or will that put her at risk?

Can this be done? .. . If so, how?

Thank you in advance.

The federal Protecting Tenants at Foreclosure Act does not cover roomers/boarders in owner-occupied properties. For more information, see http://nlihc.org/library/foreclosure.
