What is the name of your state? Mass

My friend's fiance's house has been foreclosed on. I can see the documents online and they say that his house was auctioned off and sold last week. It's greek to me but it clearly says "for $165,000 paid, grants to John Xxxx the premises conveyed by said mortgage."

Seems pretty clear to me that John Xxxxx owns this house now, and my friend's fiance needs to get out. However, he is telling her that they don't have to move and he can still get the house back. Is this possible?

**A: I don't know. He needs to check with the lender's attorney or foreclosure Trustee that handled the foreclosure.
