What is the chance of owning a home after a foreclosure? I've heard both stories of how if you wait a few years you should be able to buy another home. Our BK was just now completed and our old home is in final stage of foreclosure. We lost it due to a layoff and me having to take a job with a six-dollar an hour paycut. Regardless, in the future we would like to get a prefab or a double wide trailer, but was wondering how hard this would be due to the BK and foreclosure. Any info would help.
