What is the name of your state? Iowa

I've been living with this guy for a year and his business is going through forelosure. I own my own house and three vehicles. We did not buy any of those together. I had all of them except one car before we were together. Nothing is in his name. Can the bank come after me for any delinquent amounts? Also can he file bankruptcy after foreclosure proceedings have started?

Of course the bank cannot come after you for his debts, no more than he could come after me for his debts. They are not your debts. You are a different person. Just because you live with him does not make you the same person. Believe it or not, you do not lose your legal rights to ownership simply because you live with a man. However, if you marry and live in a community property state, things are different. Even in a community property state, however, just living with someone without being married to them has no effect on yourlegal rights. As for the foreclosure "being started", it is hard to tell what you are talking about. If you mean they have sent him letters, then of course he can still file. If you mean they are advertising the property, he can still file. But after they have actually foreclosed, it is too late. He probably needs to get moving on this, but a bankruptcy attorney can tell him more.
