My husband and his ex were divoreced back in 1978. In the
divorce she wanted to keep the house and my husband agreed that she could. On occasion she would get behind on payments (once every three or four years) and we would receive papers that were notice of foreclosure. However she would always go down and get caught up, she had a good job-worked for the Post Office. In March we received some of these papaers and my husband assumed that she had every thing straightened out, as we heard nothing else about it.My
husband atnd his ex, do not communicate and he has had nothing to do with the house in thirty years! Today, we found out that the house was foreclosed on, and this is on our credit report as well. Is there anything we can do to have this taken off of our credit report? As I said, my husband has had nothing to do with this place since thier divorce! Please respond ASAP!
