What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Texas

My ex and I have been in and out of court for over six months because he has not paid any child support in two years. He claims he is working, but no one can figure out where. Finally he was fined in contempt of court and ordered to pay his regular monthy child support plus extra for his backpay. It was set that the first payment was due August 1. So, does this mean that he has all of August to pay or was it due on August 1 and he is late? What does this mean for the court order? What does this mean for him? What does this mean for me?
Also, he did make one very small payment at the end of July because the judge said he wanted to see something. Does this count toward his August payment or would this be considered July's payment?

Thanks,
Eileen

More then likely the payment he made in July goes towards arrears.
If the August payment was due Aug. 1st then he is late. Haul his sorry butt back into court... get him while you know where he is... once he slips though your back at square one (trust me, I've been there too).
