What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA

I recently sent some materials in response to a job ad. However, after doing some more internet research, I'm beginning to feel like the company isn't representing themselves truthfully, and that the position being advertised may not exist, or may be being used just to gather personal info. What can I do?

What sort of personal information did you disclose to the company in response to their ad?

There is not much you can do now, other than monitor your credit reports to ensure the company has not used your personal information to gain credit in your name. You could also have the credit reporting agencies post a warning that your personal identifying information might have been compromised (you might have been a victim of identity theft) and no credit should be opened in your name without your personal and express authorization.

Good luck.
