Does a POLICE REPORT fall under the category of the FOI ACT? Am I allowed to post it, show it to other people, to be honest, I want to HUMILIATE the person thaT falsely reported me in the report. I was not arrested.
I thought POLICE REPORTS are public record. Correct me if I am wrong.

It is best if you keep all of your posts together. You seem to have posted in several different areas of this forum.

In response to your question here, however, it is not a wise idea to try to humiliate your husband's ex-lover by publishing any information about her. You are opening yourself up to a defamation suit against you if you do.

I would stick to getting an harassment complaint filed against this woman instead - or she may wind up filing one against you.

Yes, police reports are public record - but the publication of a police report must be handled carefully and correctly.

I did not want to tie FOI act into a defamation thread. I apologize, they are 2 separate issues, and it is my first day here.
You are very helpful and I am so glad I found this forum. Have a nice day!

They are two separate but related issues, which is why it is best on this forum to keep all of your posts together.

You have a nice day, too, bamboozled. :)

She already did.....

She already DID file HARASSMENT complaints against me that are FALSE. I was never arrested and the police know I DID not send her emails. Why are they not arresting HER since they determined the complaints to be false? They just keep saying, stay away from each other. She is not doing that, which I stated to them. They still will not do anything to her.

As I said in the other post, just go to the courthouse and file a civil harassment suit. The judge may issue a mutual restraining order, to keep both of you away from each other.

Now, try to keep all of the rest of your stuff in one post - going back and forth is difficult.
