What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? In During the summer I normally have parenting time 6 weeks. This summer I was granted full custody with the other parent having every other weekend parenting time. At the time the judge granted this he did not address child support. I agreed in the beginning to have my wages attached.

In the past I was given credit for overpayment of child support as in the first four years did not give me credit for my summer visitation. So in essence I am ahead in my child support. I do not want them to take away the wage assignment but I would like to have credit for the three months.

Can I write a letter to the judge addressing this. The child support office said that I was entitled to not only not pay child support but in turn the other parent should pay me. They told me to write to the judge.

I am wondering without filing anything if the judge would even address my letter???? Also the other parent was suppose to get together with me to enroll the child in counseling right after we went to court. They told me they could not afford it right then and said they would address it in January. As of this time they have still not addressed it.

you are going to need to file a motion, not a letter.

you need to at the very least follow the order on your end. find a therapist for the children. look for a school sponsored one. maybe the school can refer you to one.
