What is the name of your state NJ

Can someone who is condisered an "independant contractor" have their wages garnished for an existing child support order?

For example the person in question works for the same company every day so obvioulsy that person is receiving a pay check from that company on a regualr basis and that person also drives the company's truck for personal and proffesional use.

You may want to talk to a local attorney who specializes in debt/credit collections or a business law attorney to find out other ways to get money besides garnisheeing wages. There are other methods where you can get your hands on the check/money immediately when he submits it to his bank.
