Ohio--I am writing for a friend who rents her apartment from the place she is also employed with. In August of 1996 the stove in her apartment was red tagged by the gas company for a leak unbenouced to her. She found this out today from the people from the gas company who came to change the meters and were checking everyones gas appilances. Someone from the place she works at came back over after they tagged the stove took the tag off and relite the pilot. Now she and her son have no gas for cooking and also have been breathing leaking gas since 96. Is there any chance she would be entitled for some rent cut.
