Can anybody tell me the process of hiring an inventory specialist ? We are involved with establishing gaurdianship over my father affairs and this needs to get done. Problem is After an hour on the phone and the internet i cant find a buisness that does this. Home Appraisals, but thats about it.

Thanks in advance

Rick

Do not have this done until AFTER the court order is issued nominating the guardian. Locating the resources prior to appointment is all right. What state and county will the guardianship be? This thread has IL and another thread has FL. Who knows, I may be able to send you names and numbers of professionals that do this. Depending on what all has to be appraised (real estate, household belongings, jewelry, vehicles), this can take up to 4 different professionals.

Hi BlondiePB
We have already been awarded temp gaudianship in FLA. I sent you a private message.
Keep all your questions in one thread.

If there is no will, you must go through probate...just like you would if you did have a will.
