My husband has an 11 year old son that he cannot see until he's 18. His his ex-wife & her husband has sole, legal custody. My question does not have anything to do with the custody or the adoption. My husband has a genetic disorder which is slowly crippling him. We've sent medical documents to his ex's house so that she can get their son tested for this condition. She is stubborn & hot headed and refuses to to believe that anything is wrong. Can there be a court order to force her to get her son tested for this condition since it is genetic? I know that this is an unusal question but if anyone can help, it will be appreciated. Thank you.
