State of Nevada

I go to court for a 6 mo. review on monday and need the D.A. to appoint me an attorney. I do not work. I live in another state, but must return to Nevada for this review because they will not transfer my kids to the state I am residing in now.
I phoned D.A. today to ask for a continuation so that I may get one appointed but she says I need to ask that in court and see if they will. Husband won't be appointed an attorney since his gainfully employed.
